Description
The mountains in winter are about more than just skiing! Renting a sled is a fantastic way to enjoy the snow and discover new sliding sensations—whether you’re vacationing in the Tarentaise valley or a local resident.
At Takamaka, we offer a variety of sleds, so there’s something for everyone!
- The Paret: a touch of tradition
Inspired by the traditional Savoyard sled, the Paret features a seat mounted on a single runner. It’s a unique way to experience the joy of sliding while connecting with mountain heritage.
- The Yooner: an exhilarating ride
A cross between a sled and a ski, the Yooner features a low seat and a single runner. With its built-in shock absorber and great maneuverability, it’s a novel way to experience sliding, think of it as a modern-day Paret!
- The Snow Racer: take control of your descent
Equipped with a steering wheel, three runners, and a braking system, the Snow Racer is like a little go-kart for the snow. It allows you to steer your sled and enjoy a fun-filled descent in a designated area.
A security deposit of €100 per pair is required, held via a credit card pre-authorization.
Please note that not all ski lifts permit the use of sleds; check with the resort before heading out. A private vehicle is required to reach the ski areas. This activity is open to anyone aged 10 and older. Be sure to wear warm, waterproof clothing to get the most out of your outing.
We offer guided snow racer sledding runs in Méribel once the slopes have closed. Get in touch with us!
