A network of local, family-run agencies dedicated to nature-based experiences
Since 1994, Takamaka has been an adventure envisioned by our founders, Laurent and Alain, a venture fueled, above all, by a deep-seated passion for being out in the field!
For over 30 years, we have been designing, creating, and bringing to life extraordinary outdoor experiences, corporate seminars, and unique activities. Today, with 10 agencies across France, we spread the Takamaka spirit far and wide, thanks to our young, dynamic, and creative teams who know their respective regions like the back of their hand.
Our strength? Being out in the field, dreaming up fresh experiences, and sharing it all with genuine enthusiasm. Every region holds its own secrets, and every project is unique, that’s exactly what gets us excited!
In short, at Takamaka, we love what we do, we love being out in the field, and we pour our hearts into crafting incredible adventures for you!
We design and deliver bespoke experiences that foster connections, bring people together and leave a lasting impression.
Born in Annecy, settled in the Tarentaise region since 2012
Founded in 1994 in Annecy, Takamaka was born from a shared passion for the mountains, the water, and the great outdoors. In 2012, the company established itself in the Tarentaise valley, an exceptional region defined by its towering peaks, deep valleys, and legendary mountain resorts.
Here, the mountains are a way of life! Our team knows the terrain inside out, including all the must-visit spots. We pour our energy and creativity into crafting experiences that truly reflect the spirit of the region: authentic, active, and unforgettable. Whether in summer or winter, we guide individuals, companies, and groups through their adventures, from outdoor activities to bespoke corporate seminars. Our secret? A small, passionate team that stays with you from the initial quote to the final experience on the ground; a deep, firsthand knowledge of the area; a commitment to attentive, personalized service; and, above all, a genuine desire to share everything that makes us love our own little slice of paradise: the Tarentaise.
Because here, we don’t just show you the mountains, we help you truly experience them!
Why choose Takamaka?

Les avis de nos clients.
There were 11 of us for a bachelor party, and we all loved the afternoon. The activities are truly fantastic, and the two hosts are perfect, they bring such great energy and always have a smile on their faces! 😃
Perfect! We enlisted Takamaka for the team-building event during our seminar, and everything went off without a hitch. The activities on offer were fun, and the whole event was very well organized. It was a pleasure working with Anouchka, who is incredibly accommodating and friendly! Thanks again for helping make our seminar such a success!
We tried out the escape game during a family outing, and it was a wonderful surprise. The concept of using a backpack is a clever touch, as it allows for a great deal of independence. With historical discoveries about the city, well-crafted puzzles, and a pleasant walk—in short, a huge well done to the creator of this scavenger hunt! The manager at the base was exceptionally welcoming; thanks again to the whole team.
A huge thank you to the entire AN Rafting team. We came as a group of friends and had a fantastic time. Our guide, Thomas, was brilliant. We truly enjoyed the outing from start to finish, everything was just great. It was the perfect balance of thrills, calmer moments, and lots of laughter.
Fantastic bachelorette party "olympics" organized by Anouchka and her team. Thank you so much!!
A big thank you for organizing such a successful team-building event. The whole team was delighted, and the objectives, relaxation, good spirits, and team spirit—were all achieved. The Takamaka facilitators were fantastic!
