Description
An ideal activity for team building
Rafting is the ultimate group activity! Together in the same raft, participants explore the river, interact with their teammates, and experience the thrill of navigating the rushing water. There’s no need for formal competitions or challenges—the experience itself is enough to create shared memories, encourage conversation, and strengthen bonds between colleagues. It’s a fantastic opportunity to share a unique moment, far away from the office and the daily professional grind!
A nature-filled experience in the heart of the Tarentaise
Take advantage of the exceptional Alpine setting to offer your team a true breath of fresh air. With its mountain scenery, whitewater, and the excitement of the descent, rafting offers a fresh perspective on the Tarentaise region. It’s an activity that blends adventure, a chance to unplug, and the joy of being together—all while keeping nature at the forefront.
An activity well-suited for corporate groups
Rafting is an excellent choice for seminars and events involving large numbers of employees. Participants head out in small, supervised groups; multiple rafts and departure times can be arranged depending on the total headcount and logistical requirements. It’s a great, social way to bring teams together through a shared experience, even with a large group.
An accessible outing, led by professionals
You don’t need to be an expert athlete to enjoy a rafting trip! The activity is suitable for everyone—from complete beginners to the more athletic—subject to age and health requirements, water levels, and the provider’s safety guidelines. Participants are fully equipped and briefed before the descent, and are accompanied by professionals throughout the entire experience. The goal: to ensure everyone can enjoy the adventure under the best possible conditions.

FAQ
Why choose rafting for a corporate retreat in the Tarentaise Valley?
Rafting is an engaging outdoor activity that allows colleagues to share an experience outside the professional environment. Together in the same boat, they encounter the thrills of the river and enjoy a team-building moment in an exceptional natural setting.
Is rafting suitable for a large corporate group?
Yes, rafting is particularly well-suited for groups. Participants are divided among several boats, each guided by professionals, and multiple departure times can be arranged depending on availability and river conditions. It is an excellent activity for bringing a large number of colleagues together through a shared experience.
Do you need to be athletic to go rafting as a corporate activity?
No, you generally do not need to be an experienced athlete. The excursion is led by professionals, and instructions are provided before setting off. However, it is essential that you are able to swim 25 meters.
When is the best time to plan a rafting trip in the Tarentaise Valley?
The season runs from early May to the end of September. Water levels are generally quite high in the spring, but they are regulated by a dam. Thanks to this dam, it remains possible to navigate through the end of September with very good water levels.
What should be planned for a rafting activity with one's colleagues?
Specialized equipment is generally provided: a wetsuit, footwear, a helmet, a buoyancy aid, and a paddle. Participants must follow the instructions given before the activity and bring appropriate items, such as a swimsuit and a towel. Changing rooms with hot showers are available on-site.
Can rafting be incorporated into an incentive day or a seminar?
Yes! Rafting is a perfect fit for an incentive day, a seminar, or a corporate event in the Tarentaise region. It can be organized as the main activity or combined with other highlights to create a program tailored to your group, for instance, a rafting excursion paired with team-building "Olympics"-style challenges.
