Description

No team can take the start without first preparing its vehicle! Each team begins by building its own push car using the equipment provided by Takamaka. It takes teamwork, creativity and a little problem-solving to bring the vehicle to life.

Once the construction is complete, it’s time to customise. Head to the activity shop run by the leaders! Teams receive play money and negotiate to buy the accessories they want: markers, glitter, costumes, stickers, hats, wigs, horns and more.

But having the best-looking car is not enough. Each team also faces a jury during the elegance challenge. How you present your creation is entirely up to you — speak, sing or dance your way through it!

Then comes the moment everyone has been waiting for: the race. Teams push and pull their push car towards the finish line, with a qualifying round leading to the final.

Throughout the activity, everyone has a role to play. Some build, others negotiate, decorate or present the vehicle. It’s a fun way to encourage communication, creativity and team spirit.

Good to know

Get ready to roll up your sleeves! Takamaka provides the equipment needed to build the push cars, along with a range of accessories to customise them. Teams also receive play money to negotiate their purchases with the activity leaders.

The experience includes several stages, from building and decorating to the elegance challenge and the final race. The location, duration and format can be defined according to your group and seminar programme.

How the activity works

1

Get building!

Each team receives the necessary equipment and starts building its push car. Working together, participants assemble the different elements and find the best solutions to bring their project to life.
2

Time to customise

Your car is built - now give it some personality! Head to the activity shop and use your play money to negotiate for the accessories you want to add to your vehicle.
3

Impress the jury

Each team then presents its push car during the elegance challenge. A speech, a song or a dance - the choice is yours. Show the jury what your team has created!
4

Race time!

Now it’s time to put your vehicles to the test. Teams push and pull their push car towards the finish line. After the qualifying round, the best vehicles make it through to the final.
