Description

With a map in hand and snowshoes on your feet, your team heads out to find checkpoints and solve puzzles along the route. Walking is only part of the challenge: you also need to navigate and think together.

Once the teams are formed, everyone sets off. Each group has to find the same checkpoints and solve the same puzzles, but follows a different route. The different itineraries make the challenge more strategic and encourage participants to observe carefully, share ideas and make decisions together.

Qualified mountain guides supervise the activity throughout the challenge. It is a Savoie team building experience combining snowy mountain scenery, problem-solving, cooperation and a touch of competition!

How the activity works

1

Briefing

Your team discovers the challenge and receives the equipment needed for the activity: a map and snowshoes.
2

Team formation

The group is divided into teams. Everyone gets ready for the start and discovers their route.
3

Start

Here we go! Each team sets off to find checkpoints and puzzles spread throughout the course. Qualified mountain guides supervise the group.
4

Search and solve

Checkpoints have to be found and puzzles solved. Participants need to observe, navigate, exchange ideas and combine their thinking to move forward.
5

Different routes

All teams search for the same checkpoints and tackle the same puzzles, but each team follows a different route. Stay focused and don’t let the different itineraries throw you off!
6

Finish

Once the course is complete, the teams can compare their experience. To keep the experience going, the challenge can also be combined with a fondue lunch organised by Takamaka.
